Dimensionalities of Reality

While dimensions are intended as ways of observing the world, the Universe and all the Forms that compose it, dimesionalities are to be considered as fundamental emerging properties of the two components of the Source of Reality.

Dimensionality is the main expression of Agency, the capacity to produce Action, Events. Agency is the power/capacity/ability to act, to make Events happen, to create/evolve the Reality. Agency is the main functional expression of the Source. Only events have real significance (Action) as manifestations of existence and each event occurs within a frame of reference, a dimensional field.

The active side/component of the Source, the Fundamental Force express itself with a dimensionality that we call Causality. It is the causal side of Creation and Evolution of Reality. It derives from the active aspects of Agency, that we call Agents/ Forces.

The passive side/component of the Source, the Elementary Field express itself with a dimensionality that we call Variationality (Spatiality and Temporality). It is the spatial and the temporal side of Creation and Evolution, together the Formation of Reality. It derives from the passive aspects of Agency, that we call Acted / Fields.

In a relational approach to the study of Nature, dimensionality is a Property emerging from the Relation between the two fundamental aspects of the Source and the Sources: between the Force / forces and the Field / fields, from the relation between the action of the forces and the effects they produce. Hence, dimensionality, as the other fundamental dimensionality, must be intended as a relational property with reference to Events. In this sense we can say that dimensionality don't exists, it happens. It is a phenomena, a product of the dynamics of the inner interaction of the two aspects of the Source of Reality.

(*) Variation as a Dimension of Reality is considered only through its two components Space and Time. For Variation more properly we intend the first of the Modes of Action, the other two being Propagation and Conservation.

Dimensionalities of Physical Reality

Expression of the Dimensionalities of Reality in the physical domain of Nature.

While physical dimensions are intended as ways of observing the world, the Physical Universe and all the Physical Forms that compose it, physical dimesionalities are to be considered as fundamental emerging properties of the two components of the Source of Reality.

Dimensionality is the main expression of Physical Agency, the capacity to produce Physical Action, Physical Events. Agency is the power/capacity/ability to act, to make Events happen, to create/evolve the Reality. Agency is the main functional expression of the Source. Only events have real significance (Action) as manifestations of existence and each event occurs within a frame of reference, a dimensional field.

The active side/component of the Source, the Fundamental Force express itself with a dimensionality that we call Physical Causality. It is the causal side of Creation and Evolution of Physical Reality. It derives from the active aspects of Physical Agency, that we call Physical Agents/ Forces.

The passive side/component of the Source, the Elementary Field express itself with a dimensionality that we call Physical Variationality (Physical Spatiality and Physical Temporality). It is the spatial and the temporal side of Physical Creation and Physical Evolution, together the Formation of Physical Reality. It derives from the passive aspects of Agency, that we call Physical Acted / Fields.

In a relational approach to the study of Nature, dimensionality is a property emerging from the relation between the two fundamental aspects of the Source and the Physical Sources: between the Force / physical forces and the Field / physical fields, from the relation between the action of the forces and the effects they produce in the physical domain of Nature. Hence, physical dimensionality, as the other fundamental dimensionality, must be intended as a relational property with reference to Physical Events. In this sense we can say that dimensionality don't exists, it happens. It is a Phenomenon, a product of the dynamics of the inner interaction of the two aspects of the Source of Reality.

Dimensions of Reality

While dimesionalities are to be considered as fundamental emerging properties of the two components of the Source of Reality, dimensions are intended as ways of observing the world, the Universe and all the Forms that compose it.

We can observe and measure Reality in three fundamental "directions", corresponding to the three fundamental emerging properties of the manifestations of the Source: causality (expression of the Fundamental Force), Variationality, in its components Spatiality and Temporality (expression of the Elementary Field).

We can observe and measure Physical Reality in three fundamental directions, corresponding to the three fundamental emerging properties of the manifestations of the Source: cause (or force), space, time, dimensions that directly derive from the corresponding dimensionalities.

In the field of Cognitive Reality, in the metaphysical domain, composed by Immaterial Forms, Cognitive Forms (Information at the higher levels of complexity), in some areas and for some aspects, causal and spatial-temporal dimensions assume a different forms and can be transcended (eg products of imaginative thought, dreams, metaphysical descriptive models, physical theories "exotic"). In this domain of Reality the perception and the cognitive modelling of the dimensions of Physical Reality become particularly relevant.

In the field of Evolutionary Physics, three fundamental dimensions of Physical Reality are identified: the causal dimension, the spatial dimension (the "space", the spatial structure that combines the three classical spatial dimensions) and the temporal dimension ("time"). The spatial dimension, the "spatial distance", can be represented by means of many different systems of spatial "three coordinates" (rectangular, polar, cylindrical, etc.) and combined with the temporal dimension to form the four-dimensional space-time continuum. The three fundamental dimensions of Reality, "cause, space and time", manifest themselves in continuous domains, which represent fundamental properties of the fundamental sub-entity: the Elementary Field. All three dimensional realms are relative, relative to the Elementary Action, the distributions of the Elementary Events.

Causality and space-time simultaneously emerge from the inner interaction of the two aspects of the Primary Source. Causality is not prior to space-time. It is the causal action of the Force on the Field that produces the emergence of Causality and Variationality, root of all the fundamental Physical Phenomena:

the Derived Physical Forces and Derived Physical Fields that we observe in Nature.
