Definition

Events are the objects of Existence, the subject being the Entities (Agents / Forces and Acted / Fields). Events are the product of the sub-process of Creation, as part of the Process of Formation of Reality. The functional causal connection between Entities and Events is represented by Action: the Events are the product of the inner/internal "Action" (the inter-action) between the two components of the Sources (a source of events, of action): the Agents / Forces and the Acted / Fields. Event is any variation (of the state) of an Entity. At every level of Reality, events incessantly emerge (Creation - Existence) and organize (Evolution - Essence / Form). From the most elementary level of the Elementary Action, where events represent elementary variations in the fundamental fabric of Reality at the Planck scale, to the most complex, where large sets of events and the relations that organize them in complex processes, macro events, networks of events, evolve producing all the complex forms that we see in the world of Nature: cosmic structures, biological processes, as well as the cognitive processes of the living forms. In the domain of Physical Reality, we speak of Physical Events, the events that compose the physical phenomena that we observe in Nature and we analyze in our experiments. In the domain of Cognitive Reality, we speak of Cognitive Events, the events that characterize the cognitive activity of the living being: perceptions, sensations, emotions, thoughts, etc.). And more, in the Metacognitive domain, where we investigate and make models of the cognitive processes.

Common definition

Something that happens at a certain point at a certain moment. Any variation of a system. In physics, and in particular in the study of relativity, an event indicates a physical phenomenon, located in a specific point of the four-dimensional space. (Link to Wikipedia page: Event).

Description

Elementary Events

Go to the definition of Elementary Events.

Any variation that occurs in the fundamental Dimensions of Reality (Cause, Space and Time) of the state of the fundamental Entity (Fundamental Force and Elementary Field) in itself.

Complex Events

Go to the definition of Complex Events.

Any variation that occurs in the fundamental Dimensions of Reality (Cause, Space and Time) in the organization (Information) of the fundamental Entity (Fundamental Force and Elementary Field), which we call Structures of Information and material and immaterial Forms.
