TFNR - Interactions between Matter and Radiant Energy
Interaction: action between different entities, different events, processes. Since in this chapter we are dealing with Structures of Information, both Dark and Ordinary, invisible and visible respectively, by interaction we mean here the "relational modalities" that concern InfoStructures. Causal action of a Structure that produces a variational effect on another. Interaction, Inter-Action, Action between two or more Structures, Systems, Forms...
Unidirectional interactions, but also bidirectional, reciprocal, with causal actions (expressions of forces) and variational effects (variations in shape, deformations) by the Structures involved. Structures that, as we have seen, can be Waves, Vortices and Interactions, that realize complex Structures by functionally aggregating more elementary Structures (e.g. Proton, composed of quarks in nuclear interaction mediated by gluons, nuclear turbulence dynamically immersed in the natural spontaneous turbulence of the Elementary Field).
Simple interactions, involving a single fundamental force (e.g. gravitational or electromagnetic), and more complex interactions, involving multiple fundamental interactions at the same time, modifying the Structures involved in different ways, in different Components of the Elementary Action together. For example, in the case of electromagnetic interaction, simultaneous variations can be produced on the organization of the correlations (Relations) of Rotation:AxisOrientation and Translation, with different fundamental physical quantities involved, Spin and Motion, and in the case of significant acceleration, also Perturbation -> Mass (Relativistic Mass of the accelerated Structure).
Among the fundamental interactions, gravitational and electromagnetic ones produce long-range variational effects, which can be observed in the world we live in. Strong and weak nuclear interactions, which govern nuclear dynamics inside atoms, produce effects on subatomic scales that are not so evident, even if we can recognize their effects, for example, when we look at the sun and see its light produced precisely by nuclear reactions.
Interactions can assume different forms due to the prevalence of the properties of the kind of Information / Energy involved:
- Metric / Gravitational energy: Space-time and metric phenomena / Mass and gravitational phenomena --> gravitational interactions
- Kinetic energy: Motion and kinetic phenomena --> kinetic interactions (like transmissions of motion, for example due to impacts)
- Electric energy: Charge and electric phenomena --> electric interactions or electromagnetic interactions, emission and absorption of e.g. waves/photons from electron dynamics in and out of atoms
- Magnetic energy: Spin and magnetic phenomena --> magnetic interactions or electromagnetic interactions, emission and absorption of e.g. waves/photons from electron dynamics in and out of atoms
- Other more complex forms of Derived structured physical forces and fields --> weak and strong nuclear interactions
Since Matter is a particular (or particularly structured) form of Energy, and Energy is an elementary form of Information, which gives structure to the Elementary Field, any Interaction must be understood as an exchange of Information, which is realized through Action produced by a Cause (Force) exerted on a Field, or a Structure present in it.
But let's get to the subject of this section. Among the forms of Energy, in addition to Matter, we find Radiant Energy. As seen in a previous section, it is a form of Energy associated with two subtypes of Structures of Information belonging to the Wave type: Gravitational Waves and Electromagnetic Waves. These Structures are made up of and transport Information / Energy that we call "radiant" because they constitute the most representative form of "radiation". They produce the transport of Energy in space, without motion of material bodies (Forms, objects made of Vortices / Particles of Matter, Dark or Ordinary).
We have seen what it is, what we mean by interaction, what Matter and Radiant Energy are. Now we must put these concepts together and go back to what we have already illustrated previously in a somewhat fragmentary and disorganized way, and give them a definition as clear and synthetic as possible. In the last sections of this chapter we will see in detail some examples that I hope will be sufficiently clarifying.
By interactions between Matter and Radiant Energy we mean every interaction that involves one or more Vortex-type InfoStructures, elementary, composite or complex, and one or more Wave-type InfoStructures. Therefore every exchange, unidirectional or bidirectional, of Action between these two different types of Structures. In other words, every expression of Force (causal Action) on a portion of structured Field, Cause that produces a Variation, a change of Form (variational Effect). In the expression of a Force / Agent that exerts Action on a Field / Acted, the fundamental function of a Source is realized, what we call Agency, the causal / variational substrate of all that exists. The result of the interaction, precisely a variation of Form, can be expressed as a variation of the Information / Energy of the Structure involved.
We can imagine a gravitational wave as an acceleration potential(linear and angular) propagating in the Elementary Field (we could say in Space-time) exerts a linear / stress and angular / torque deforming force in the form of effective acceleration that produces linear and angular deformation (strain and torsion of the rotation axis) of every InfoStructure it encounters in its trajectory (every Vortex / Particle of visible Matter, quarks, electrons, etc., every Wave, every Dark Structure of extension compatible with the wavelength of the propagating gravitational wave, every Form and System of forms, planets, stars, pulsars, mirrors of gravitational wave detector interferometers).
Similarly, we can imagine an electromagnetic wave as an acceleration potential (linear and angular) propagating in the Elementary Field (we could say in Space-time) exerts a linear/effort and angular/torque deforming force in the form of effective acceleration which produces a linear and angular deformation (deformation and torsion of the rotation axis) of every InfoStructure of compatible spatial extension that it encounters in its trajectory (every Vortex/Particle, atoms, electrons, nuclei, quarks, etc., every Wave, every Structure of Ordinary Matter (visible) of extension compatible with the wavelength of the propagating electromagnetic wave).
For further details, please refer to the previous section where we discussed the phenomena of photon absorption by free and confined electrons in atoms.
