For simplicity, the Field can be identified as an integration of all the fundamental (derived) fields: space-time, gravitational, electric and magnetic fields.
From absolute to relative: the process of derivation
We cannot say that "a force (i.e. gravity) affects every part of the universe as a field". Because the Universe is that field.
The Universe "is" the Field, the Elementary Field that we can in turn observe as gravitational field/space-time and/or as electromagnetic field, etc.
Things don’t move in the fields, the things are the Field organized, structures of Information that organize the tiny fluctuations of the Field itself, the Elementary Events that constitute the Elementary Action, the expression of the Source, produced by the interaction of the Fundamental Force acting on the Elementary Field.
Aspects: constraint (to the expression of the Force/forces) and support
The Elementary Field can be seen as a comprehensive field, origin and root of all the derived fields.
In this sense we could call it: Extended space-time Field (EstF).
It gives support of all the Structures and Forms that compose the Physical Reality, all the phenomena that we can observe in the Universe.
In a broader sense, it can be seen as the union of the space-time/gravitational field and the electro-magnetic field (the two fundamental most elementary derived fields).
The other fields (the weak and the string nuclear fields) are more complex fields, involved in the interactions of the Structures of Information (vortices/massive particles and waves).
