Acted/Fields are the objects of the actions operated by Agents/Forces. They represent the passive aspect of the property of Sources that we call Agency, causality in action.

While Agents/Forces represent the causal side of Sources, Acted/Field represent their variational side. Agents and acted, Forces and Fields, as a unity in the Sources, together represent all the fundamental aspects/properties that produce the incessant construction of Reality. They are the fundaments of the Process of Formation of Reality.

An Acted/Field manifest itself while acted by an Agent/Force. Acted/Field are "objects of causal action". They are the receivers of the events that represent the Action, the product of the interaction between Forces and Fields.

The properties of the Acted/Fields

  • Variation: for variational side, I intend the aspects of a Source that can vary in space (volume, area, distance, relative space location --> position and its derivatives with respect to space and/or in time) and/or in time (duration, period, relative time location --> instant and its derivatives with respect to space and/or in time).
  • Resistance:

Fundamental and derived Acted / Fields

We can identify a fundamental acted (the Elementary Field, the causal precursor of the space-time, in its exended form that supports every side of Reality, in its creative and evolutive aspects) and various derived agents, different manifestations of the Field at the different levels of Reality, of Existence, the Fields that support the Existence and the Essence/Form of the Universe in evolution.

Fundamental Acted / The Field

the former "substance", the substrate of Reality,

Derived Acted / Fields

Classification of Acted

The basic variational aspect of Reality, that correspond to Perturbation, the primary mode of expression of Action (the dynamics of the Elementary Events), is space-time itself with the associated metric field (the first derived field), seen as the dimensional counterpart of mass density and gravitational phenomena.

The others variational aspects, that correspond to the further, more complex, modes of expression of the Action, are +

  • attraction/repulsion related to motion (Translation),
  • vorticity/chirality related to charge (Rotation/Chirality),
  • orientation of the axis of vorticity (Rotation/Axis) related to the electromagnetic phenomena.

The more complex nuclear phenomena, forces and fields related to the combination of these fundamental modes and the above-mentioned physical quantities and phenomena.

These two sides of the source, force and field, interacting, manifest their peculiar features and, at same time, acquire the features of the other different/opposite/complementary side.

The field manifests its passive feature of “resistance” to variation, reacting to the pressure of the force. In turn, this reaction manifests itself as a counter force, opposed to the original force. It opposes as a counter-pressure to the action of the force.

The force manifests its active feature of “pressure” toward variation, reacting to the resistance of the field. In turn, this reaction manifest itself as a variation of the effect, of the action produced by the force. It opposes as a counter-resistance to the reaction of the field. An incessant trend toward the dynamic equilibriums represented by the action (the events, the variations) produced.

So, the force has in itself a secondary/derived aspect of variation/resistance and the field has in itself a secondary/derived aspect of force/pressure. In other words, this means that a field, for some aspects, can be seen as a force and vice versa. These two aspects of a source are inseparable, really.

The Field of Elementary Action (the Elementary Field, the space-time field) The Elementary Field (from which all the various known fields derive as different views) is the stage where the Elementary Events, that support Reality, occur.

It is the “enhanced” space time field, the fundamental receptive entity, incessantly perturbed by the Force, animated with incessant fluctuations in the same space time dimensions, the Elementary Action, from whose organization all the Structures of Information (waves, particles and their interactions) and all the Physical Forms emerge.

We intend the Elementary Field as an “enhanced” or “enriched” space time field in the sense that we can think about it as a more complex field than the space time that we find in General Relativity. We can think about it as a field with more complex properties than the mere space time, resulting from the melting of the various field involved in the description of the phenomena that we observe in both the quantum and classical aspects of the Physical Reality. So, at least, we have to combine the properties of the S.R and G.R. space time field, that describes events, masses, gravitation, motion of masses and charged particles in space time, with those of the Maxell Electromagnetic Field / EMF (even in the more sophisticated quantum/relativistic formulations), that describes the electric and magnetic phenomena and the propagation of the e. m. waves.

In classical mechanics, a constraint is a relation between coordinates and momenta (and possibly higher derivatives of the coordinates). In other words, a constraint is a restriction on the freedom of movement of a system of particles.

This “substance” must be always intended as a field, not a substance in the classical sense, absolutely not a new form a rebirth aether. It is a continuous field in the sense of S.R / G.R. / EMF and, at the same time, a field that is quantized, in the sense of Q.M., by the incessant action of the Force, pressing on the evolution of all the more and more physical entities (the Structures of Information and the Physical Forms, as pattern of organization of the field itself), that compose the Universe.

Changing our point of view, the angles by which we observe the Physical Reality, or, in other word, the physical entities we are observing and the ways we conduct the observations (i.e. the organization of the experiments that we do) we obtain different results (i.e. the wave-particle dualism). So, observing giant masses moving and interacting in the cosmos, we will see the gravitational field (S.G. / G.R.) and its dynamics. Observing the quantum properties of the light waves arriving from that cosmological objects, we will see the EMF in the quantum/relativistic formulations. Observing the interaction between the particles (cosmic rays) colliding with the atmosphere, like that colliding in the high-energy experiments, or like those involved with the decaying of the same particles) we will see more complex field such as the weak and the strong nuclear field.

In the model of description of Reality proposed by Evolutionary Physics, we intend all these fields, that we identify as different visions of the same fundamental elementary field, as “derived fields”. We can obtain them simply changing our point of view, i.e. changing what we observe and the ways in which we observe the Physical Reality.

The Elementary Field can have two fundamental, unorganized, states:

  • Non-Existence - Nothingness: state characterized by absence of causal action perturbative of the Force, absolute homogeneity of the parameters that characterize the Field,
  • Existence: under the causal perturbative action of the Force, the Field undergoes a transition of state, from the condition of non-existence to existence, from nothingness to Elementary Action, the Elementary Events, the fundamental form of existence. A simple scheme that ties the Field to the Force and to the Action: Field (Acted) + Force (Agent) => Events (Action). Entity + Entity => Phenomenon: is the domain of Evolutionary Dynamics.

The fundamental properties of the Field of Elementary Action are the expressions of the three principles of the Dynamic of the Elementary Action:

  • Indetermination:
  • Dynamicity or reactivity:
  • Conservativeness:

Others are consequences of these three fundamental:

  • Unity:
  • Locality:
  • Separability:

Derived fields

Derived fields are different and more complex organizations of the Elementary Field (E.F.) In particular, we can describe the gravitational field as the organization of the E.F. in the Perturbation aspect (the correlation in the distribution of the intensity value of the elementary space-time fluctuations (Elementary Action).

The electrical field as the organization of the E.F. in the Rotation aspect (the correlation in the distribution of the intensity of spin (spin direction) of the elementary space-time fluctuations.

The magnetic field as the organization of the E.F. in the Rotation aspect (the correlation in the distribution of the intensity of spin (spin axis orientation) of the elementary space-time fluctuations. The more the intensity of the correlations, the more intense the corresponding field.
