TFNR - Paper Abstract
I propose a new model of description of Reality, founded on a constructivist paradigm, an integral extension of the evolutionary theory to the whole domain of Nature. To improve, extend and generalize our knowledge about physical reality, posing some original or unconventional hypothesis, I suggest to revise the same pillars of the current physical theories, namely the matter centric vision (atomism), the non-locality hypothesis, the theory of big bang and inflation, and to reconsider some other theories, putting them in a wider framework, improving their compatibility and descriptive power: among them, general relativity and quantum mechanics. It is an attempt to reach and reveal the unity at the elementary level that underlies the multiplicity of the phenomenological reality we directly make experience, to gather the Action on the Field by the Force, which incessantly causes the creation and the evolution of Reality, in its physical and cognitive aspects. A stimulus to address theoretical and experimental researches in new directions, to go beyond the known, to explore new horizons in physics and cosmology.
As expression of the Source of Reality, at the most elementary level, I identify a unique causal agent, the Fundamental Force, that incessantly “creates” the Reality, mediating the state transition of the Elementary Field from Non-Existence to Existence, from the fundamental unstable state of “nothingness” to the unitary Field of Elementary Action, the Elementary Events, the basic form of existence. We can see this level as the quantum vacuum, in which the incessant and undetermined fluctuations of the metric, a stochastic process in space time dimensions, represent the fundamental “substance”, the unitary field from which all the Structures and the Forms of Reality emerge and evolve. At this level, the Physical Reality can be described by three fundamental principles (uncertainty, action and reaction, least action), that correspond to the fundamental “modes” of the elementary dynamics (gradient, divergence and curl), and, from an operational point of view, to the three forms of the Elementary Action: Perturbation, Translation and Rotation. The derived forces and fields that we observe in Nature (gravitational, electromagnetic, etc.) and the associate physical quantities (space, time, mass, motion, charge, spin) emerge from that elementary level, from its dynamics, as different views of the inner interaction between the two aspects of the Source.
The intensity of this incessant and constant Force, together with the parameters and constraints that characterize the Field, determines the distribution of the elementary fluctuations, the Elementary Events that I call Action, and so, the fundamental properties of Physical Reality: the vacuum electrical permittivity and the magnetic permeability, the velocity of propagation of Information (commonly known as “speed of light”), the quantum of action, the gravitational constant, the fine structure constant, the equilibrium conditions that determines the fundamental properties of radiation (wavelength and polarization) and matter - dark matter structures and ordinary matter particles (mass, motion, charge and spin).
These properties extend their influence on all the aspects of Reality, as the complex feedback phenomena called “universe expansion and dark energy”, intimately connected to the processes of formation of matter and, more in general, to the dynamics of the cosmos. Furthermore, I will investigate the relationships between continuity and quantization (the Field, as a continuous entity, and the Structures of Information in the Field, the patterns of organization of the elementary fluctuations, as quantized entities), and between the undulatory and corpuscular aspects of the Structures of Information (ordinary matter particles, dark matter structures, radiation, energy structures and carriers of derived forces).
I hope that these hypotheses, and all my attempts to go beyond the known, can help to reach a deeper and clearer understanding of Reality, the Universe and the infinite complexity of the natural phenomena.
