Agents/Forces are the active aspects of the unity represented by the Sources. They are the active side of Reality, of Existence. Agents are the forces that act in the formation, the creation and the evolution, of Reality, in its two domains: physical, and metaphysical/cognitive. In other words, Agents are the fundamental causal entities that give life to, that incessantly construct the Reality.

An Agent/Force manifest itself acting on the related Acted/Field. Agents/Forces are "centers of causal action". They are the emitters of the events that represent the Action, the product of the interaction between Forces and Fields.

We can identify a fundamental agent (the Fundamental Force, the Cause, the power engine of the Creation and the Evolution of Reality) and various derived agents, different manifestations of the Force at the different levels of Reality, of Existence, the Forces that act in the Universe.

Fundamental Agent

Direct emanation of the Source, the Fundamental Force, the basic Agent, is the causal source of Reality. Perturbing the perfect homogeneity of the rest state of Elementary Field (the nothingness), the Force incessantly creates the Elementary Action, the most elementary form of existence (the emptiness, the perfect void).

In other words, the Force operates the fundamental state transition of the Field from the inexistence to existence, from the absolute homogeneity, that we call nothingness, to the perturbed unorganized state, that we call quantum vacuum, the substrate of Information, of any structure and any form emerging from the organization of the Elementary Action itself.

The fundamental Agent gives power also to the evolution of the Action, that produces more and more complex forms (we call this "Information"), pushing on the evolution of the Structures of Information (particles and waves in the physical realm) and the Physical Forms that populate the Universe.

Derived Agents

The Agents of Reality are the fundamental causal entities that give life to Reality. They are "centers of causal action", that create and give power to the evolution of Reality. Each operator and each entity involved in PFR, each structure, each existing Form, from the elementary Field to the Universe in its complex, is an Agent, or a center of causal action. The Reality is therefore an interconnected network of Agents in incessant evolutive and co-constructive interaction, Agents that express themselves at all the dimensional and complexity levels.

Classification of the Agents

With respect to their functional complexity and their causal characteristics, properties and functions, the Agents can be classified as:

• Operational agents (the "Operators of Reality"): the Force and the derived forces that act in the PFR. They, as centers of functional action, incessantly do the elementary jobs in the Creation and Evolution of Reality;
• Quantum agents (waves, particles, interactions): the derived forces that act at the level of elementary particles;
• Deterministic agents (material forms, forms of inorganic matter, from gasses to stars and galaxies, till the biggest cosmic structures): the derived forces that act at the level of ordinary reality, the "classical" forces;
• Finalistic agents (living forms and automata, and their ecosystems): the forces that act in the existence of the living beings and automata. The finalistic agents, in their action in/on the Phisical Reality, incessantly costruct meta-forms, cognitive strucures and forms. In their evolution, they become more and more complex centers of physical and metaphysical/cognitive action. From thair esploration of the evolutive possibility given by the environment, they develop models/representations of Reality, that produce individual and collective behaviours, sexual forces, ecosystems forces, cultural, social and economic forces, spiritual forces, and so on in an incessant rise of complexity.

The Operational Agents

The Fundamental Force, the causal former Operator of Reality, manifests itself in various funtional forms in the Process of Formation of Reality (PFR). It has two forms of manifestation, the Existence Operator (EX) and the Relation Operator (REL). The Derived Agents or better the Derived Operators are manifestations of the fundamental operator that operate a specific work in the PFR.

The Existence Operator (EX) causes the Creation of Reality in its most elementary form, the most elemnetary form of Existence, the Elementary Events that represent the Elementary Action.

The Relation Operator (REL) causes the Evolution of Reality in its more complex, derived, aspects, the complex Events that we call complex Action, that emerges from the organization of the more elementary events in more and more complex networks of relations.

We can say that the Existence Operator is the expression of a more general "Relation Operator", expressing itself in causing Creation at/of the most elementary level of Reality. And, vice versa, the Relation Operator is a more complex expression of the Existence Operator, expressing itself in causing Evolution at/of the more and more complex levels of Reality. Specular manifestations in the scale spanning from the elementary to the complex, different manifestations of a unique Source of Agency and resistance, activity and passivity, creativity and receptivity.

The Derived Operators, at the same time, are Agents, that play a specific role in the PFR, and entities, manifestation of the Force, in the Reality. Entities, building blocks in the construction of the evolving Universe. So, we can talk as well of events and processes of events, entities and derived forces.

In the PFR we can identify different and complementary aspects of Reality, that correspond to the three vertical sections, or columns, of the PFR scheme:

• dynamic aspects: all the events, entities and derived forces that spread, transport, the Action in the Field, that realise the quality that we call "divergence". In the Process of Formation of Physical Reality (PFPR), these aspects are embodied by the Operators: Translation, Organization, Waves. They represent the active side of Reality, or the active powers;
• conservative aspects: all the events, entities, derived forces that centralize, conserve, the Action in the Field, that realise the quality that we call "rotation/curl". In the PFPR these aspects are embodied by the Operators: Rotation, Transformation, Vortices. They represent the passive side of Reality, or the passive powers;
• equilibrium aspects: all the events, entities, derived forces that, composing the two dynamic and conservative aspects, realize differentiation and relation, the quality that we call "gradient". In the PFPR these aspects are embodied by the Operators: Perturbation, Selection, Interactions, Forms

So, we can classify the above operators, the PFPR derived agents, with respect to two main factors: complexity (the different nested levels that characterize Reality) and ways of expression of the Force (equilibrium, dynamicity, conservation):

• Level of Elementary Action
  • Perturbation (equilibrium aspect – gradient)
  • Translation (dynamic aspect – divergence)
  • Rotation (conservative aspect – rotation/curl)
• Level of Information
  • Organization (dynamic aspect – anabolic, constructive processes)
  • Transformation (conservative aspect – catabolic, destructive, transformative processes)
  • Selection (equilibrium aspect – the relational processes that lead to causal permanence)
• Level of the Structures of Information
  • Waves (dynamic aspect – the root of radiation)
  • Vortices (conservative aspect – the root of matter)
  • Interactions (equilibrium aspect – the root of the dynamics of matter and radiation)
• Level of the Forms/Universe
  • Forms (equilibrium aspect – the key of the development of the objects of Reality, the Universe in evolution)

These operators, in infinite combinations, do all the formative (creative ans evolutive) job in the PFR (both in the PFPR and in the PFMR the process of formation of Metareality/cognitive reality). The Action of the Operators on the Field, produce, construct, make the Universe to evolve in an infinite process of structuration that leads to an incessant rise in complexity.
