Polarization is everywhere. Electric and magnetic charges, some quantum variables, etc. can be represented by opposing polarized states. The same for gravitation and its structures: masses. 

Then, beside positive masses (represented by both ordinary and dark matter), we can assume the existence of negative masses (represented by dark energy). 

For positive masses we intend more or less space extended volumes of the Elementary Field where the stochastic mean distribution of the elementary fluctuations (of the space distances, of the metric), that we call Elementary Events, is lower that the universal mean distribution or, better, the “environmental” mean distribution. We call the stochastic processes of the Elementary Events as Elementary Action and, in particular, the fluctuations of the metrics as Perturbation, one of the three forms of Action.  
In short, we have positive masses when the local Perturbation is lower than the environmental Perturbation.
